How long you’ll need to allow your mattress to regain its usual shape will vary depending on the manufacturer. It can range from 6 hours right up to 48 hours for your new rolled mattress to fully expand. And, although most rolled mattresses are fine to sleep on during this time, you could find that it’s not as comfy as you expected until it has fully retained its usual shape.

Rolled memory foam mattresses: If you’re a fan of plush support, a memory foam mattress could be ideal. A rolled memory foam mattress will conform to the natural contours of your body as you sleep and relieve pressure points resulting in a revitalising night’s sleep.

Pocket sprung rolled mattresses: pocket spring mattresses feature individual pocket springs. And rolled pocket spring mattresses come with convenient delivery and are easier to transport to your room of choice than standard pocket spring mattresses.
Rolled kids mattress: Rolled mattresses are ideal for a kid’s bedroom – especially if your children have a high-sleeper, a mid-sleeper or a bunk bed. The whole point of a rolled mattress is to combine comfort with convenience. So, when you’re ready to unbox your rolled mattress, take it to the room it’s intended for and remove it from its box. Next, position it in place (either on the floor or on the bed frame it will live on) and remove the packaging. Do this using scissors rather than a knife. And take care not to damage your roll up mattress while removing the packaging.
Your new roll up mattress will then slowly start to regain its pre-rolled shape.
Be aware, it will take at least a couple of hours for your mattress to expand. And we recommend leaving it for as long as the manufacturer of your new rolled mattress advises before sleeping on it. You’ll find the manufacturer-issued information you need either on or within your rolled mattress box.
And remember, after your rolled mattress has been unpacked, it is not possible to roll it back up. Rolled mattresses are rolled and packaged using machines that have been specifically designed for this purpose.
To put it simply, choosing a rolled-up mattress will make your delivery ten times easier. If you’re wanting it delivered directly to your door, sometimes larger mattresses such as a super king mattress will not fit through doorways or up the stairs. But navigating a bed in the box through the tightest of staircases is an easy task. A rolled-up mattress eliminates any problems and makes delivery a breeze.

The rolled-up mattress will slowly begin to rise and should be in place after 4-6 hours. Rolled-up memory foam mattresses take longer and should be in full shape after 24 hours.

At 135cm wide x 190cm long (or 4ft6” x 6ft3”), there’s a generous 15cm extra of mattress width to enjoy when you choose a standard double over a small double.
King size rolled mattresses. Mattress size matters. And this realisation is prompting many of us to upgrade from double to the roomier king size mattress. A king size rolled mattress measures 150cm x 200cm (or 5ft x 6ft6”), giving sleepers an additional 15cm of mattress width, and an extra 10cm in length when compared to a double. If you’re after a little extra space to spread out and roll over in your sleep, a king size could be ideal.
Super king rolled mattresses. Super king mattresses are the biggest UK mattress size. Boasting an impressive 180cm x 200cm (or 6ft x 6ft6”) of surface to sleep on, a super king rolled mattress gives two people plenty of room to starfish as they please and get a consistently great night’s sleep.
