They’re also perfect for box rooms that aren’t big enough to squeeze in a full size single. A small single open coil mattress measures 75cm x 190cm (or 2ft6" x 6ft3") and comfortably sleeps one.
Single open coil mattresses. A UK standard single mattress measures 90cm x 190cm (or 3ft x 6ft3”). They have been specifically designed to sleep one adult comfortably. If you’re hoping to buy an open coil single mattress, we have plenty of options for you to peruse and choose from.
Small double open coil mattresses. Small double mattresses provide a more spacious sleep for one or a cosy sleep for two. The mattresses in our small double open coil range are 120cm x 190cm (or 4ft x 6ft3”).
Double open coil mattresses. Double mattresses just so happen to be one of the most popular mattress sizes in the UK. A double traditional coil mattress is designed to sleep two people comfortably (and on a regular basis) and is 135cm wide x 190cm long (or 4ft6” x 6ft3”).
King size open coil mattresses. Given that mattress size does matter, many of us are upgrading from double to the more roomy king size option. A king size open coil mattress is 150cm x 200cm (or 5ft x 6ft6”), providing an additional 15cm of mattress width, and an extra 10cm in length too. If you’re looking for a little more space to spread out and move around as you sleep, a king size could give your sleep the boost it needs.
Super king open coil mattresses. Super king mattresses are as big as mattress sizes get.
