The Naturals bed and mattress collection from Slumberland is environmentally conscious. Featuring a plant based mattress and two mattresses made using sustainably sourced materials that can keep you warm and comfy whatever the Great British weather decides to do next. Embracing our sustainability ethos, we have worked with our suppliers to develop some exclusive and exciting mattress fillings and fabrics, such as bamboo, flax and organic cotton, with each aspect of the mattresses being either biodegradable or recyclable. Each mattress also includes a TrueComfort filling layer made from recycled plastic bottles in an effort to reduce plastic waste reaching landfill and our oceans. What’s more, your mattress will be delivered to your home encased in Green polythene which has a carbon neutral packaging footprint. Slumberland Naturals mattresses are made right here in the UK and are BSI accredited.
Our Slumberland Naturals eco-friendly mattress collection features three different mattresses made in different firmness ratings and sizes, which means there’s an environmentally friendly mattress for every environmentally conscious person out there.
We don’t want to brag, but we find Slumberland mattresses pretty dreamy. In fact, they’re the best on the block when it comes to cool, cushioning comfort. Their secret? That’s the TrueComfort filling layers – which are built into the core of the mattress, as well as the quilted cushion-top sleeping surface. These layers add a remarkable sensation of comfort, and true support. Want one more secret? The TrueComfort filling is partly made from recycled plastic bottles (although you wouldn’t be able to tell by sleeping on it!).
Slumberland is mindful about reducing plastic waste, which can build up in landfill and in our oceans and forests. That’s why they’ve thought of everything: these mattresses also arrive at your home encased in Green polythene packaging, which is carbon-neutral.

Buying an eco bed set means you’re ready to go, and it’s still customisable, too – our divan bed sets have a number of underbed storage options, from no drawers, to four drawers. How much underbed storage you need might depend on how much space you have in your room for other bedroom furniture – like a dresser, wardrobe, or bedside table – to store your other bits and pieces.

There are several thoughtfully selected materials that make up the filling of our newly improved Slumberland Naturals collection.
We’ve worked closely with our suppliers in Cumbria to develop a special blend of natural fibres. The materials used to create the fibres used while creating these mattresses include organic cotton, organic flax, bamboo and Tencel.

In our Slumberland Naturals mattress range, we have used a combination of micro pocket spring, full-height pocket springs, and dynamic perimeter edge springs to keep you comfy and supported while you sleep.
Our full-height mattress springs are UK-made. And they even contain around 15 - 20% recycled steel content. Each of the full height pocket springs are wrapped in their very own flexible, breathable fabric pocket to help minimise motion transfer too. Great for anyone sharing a bed.
Then there’s the mattresses’ dynamic edge springs. These make up the outer two rows of springs within the mattress to reduce roll off.
Lastly, there’s the micro pocket springs. These can react perfectly to the unique contours of your body with the added benefit that an increased responsiveness in your support system can enhance comfort and durability. And all this while improving mattress breathability (air circulation) within your mattress.
